The organization was founded under the leadership and vision of Abid Hussain Goraya, a committed media advocate, with the mission of creating a united, supportive, and compassionate media community. AMUP serves as a bridge between journalists, the public, and key institutions, including security agencies, ensuring that journalists and their families receive support during the most challenging times.

Under the guidance of Abid Hussain Goraya, AMUP provides direct assistance to journalists and their families, including help with daughters’ dowries, financial support during emergencies, and access to medical care. The organization operates on the principles of unity, love, brotherhood, and solidarity, creating a nurturing environment where every journalist feels respected, safe, and valued.
